Wild Acres Flower farm is in Veradilla, a small rural town located in the Lockyer Valley, QLD. 

As a working farm and our home, we are not open for general walk ins. We are only open to the public during our seasonal Pick Your Own Wildflowers event and bookings are essential.

Yes, bookings are required. Our Pick Your Own Wildflowers is seasonal and subject to the weather. Tickets are limited as we are a small scale farm. This creates space for a more calmer and connected experience, allows us to care for our land and ensures our fields can flourish for seasons to come.

Please plan to arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked session time. You are welcome to arrive at any time during your allocated session. As our farm is also our private home, we kindly ask that you wait until your session time to enter the property and stay within the designated areas during your visit. Please plan to leave around the time your session ends.

As a small family-run flower farm, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled due to change of mind or inability to attend.

In the event we need to cancel a session due to unforeseen weather circumstances or farm closure, our guests will be offered a refund.

Tickets will be advertised when our event is open and are subject to weather. Our wildflower season typically runs for 4 weeks and generally starts in early Spring, from mid August to mid September.

We don’t have a mailing list and aren’t able to notify people individually if a ticket becomes available. As a small family run farm, we simply don’t have the capacity to manage a mailing list or contact everyone who has enquired.

If any tickets do become available, they will be released back onto our website, so we recommend keeping an eye on our booking page. We’ll also share any updates about additional sessions on our social media. 

For Glass Jar Experience: a jar will be provided for you to fill with your picked flowers as well as snips for your session. When you finish picking your flowers, jars and snips need to be returned. We advise that you bring your own bucket to transport your flowers home.

Yes, photos are encouraged on our flower farm during our Pick Your Own Wildflowers season and we would love to see them! 

Please note that we’re unable to accomodate professional photography and private photoshoots during Pick Your Own Wildflower sessions.

As we have animals living on the farm, we kindly ask that you leave your pets at home when visiting us.

Absolutely! Children are welcome to join you at our Pick Your Own Wildflowers and there is plenty of space for strollers.

For everyone’s safety, children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times. Children under 10 years old must not use or carry flower snips unless under the supervision and guidance of a parent or guardian.

We have a clean portable toilet available on site for guests to use throughout their visit.

Our flower fields have wide grass pathways that allow wheelchair access to much of the experience. As we’re a working flower farm, some areas have natural or uneven ground.

To help us care for our farm and ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable visit, smoking, vaping, alcohol and illicit substances are not permitted anywhere on the property. We kindly ask that you please use the bins provided or take your rubbish home with you.
