  • Wild Acres Flower farm is in Veradilla, a small rural town located in the Lockyer Valley, QLD.

    As a working farm and our home, we are not open for general walk ins. We are only open to the public during our seasonal Pick Your Own Wildflowers event and bookings are essential.

  • Yes, bookings are required. Our Pick Your Own Wildflowers is seasonal and subject to the weather. Tickets are limited as we are a small scale farm. This creates space for a more calmer and connected experience, allows us to care for our land and ensures our fields can flourish for seasons to come.

  • Tickets will be advertised when our event is open. Our wildflower season typically starts in early Spring, from August to September. Tickets are often released at short notice approximately a week before, subject to weather conditions.

  • As a small family run flower farm, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled due to change of mind or inability to attend.

    In the event we need to cancel a session due to unforeseen weather circumstances or farm closure, our guests will be offered a refund.

  • We welcome children to experience our Pick Your Own Wildflowers! There is plenty of space for strollers. Please ensure children are supervised at all times. Children under 10yrs are not permitted to use or carry snips without parental guidance. 

  • We kindly ask that you leave your pets at home as we have animals on our property.

  • Yes, photos are encouraged on our flower farm during our Pick Your Own Wildflowers season and we would love to see them! 

    Please note that we’re unable to accomodate professional photography and private photoshoots during Pick Your Own Wildflower sessions.

    Our resident photographer, Grace, offers beautiful mini photography sessions in the flower fields when in season, which can be booked directly through her when available: @graceploetzphotography.com

  • Thank you so much for thinking of our farm for your special day! While we appreciate the inquiry, we do not host weddings or venue hires.

  • For optimal vase life, we highly recommend changing the water every 2 days and re-cutting your stems on an angle to increase water absorption. Strip any leaves that are submerged below the water line to avoid bacteria growth.

    Keep your flowers out of direct sunlight for longer lasting blooms. With proper care, fresh paper daisies can last up to 2 weeks in a vase!

    A little something to know: Rhodanthe paper daisies are wonderfully responsive flowers! Fresh paper daisies naturally close at night and when they become wet or cold. This is completely normal, as they warm up and dry out, they will reopen again!

  • We suggest keeping your dried flowers out of direct sunlight to help prevent fading and brittleness.

    Please keep your dried flowers dry and out of water. Humidity can cause flowers to droop or naturally close. If they do become damp or wet, simply hang them upside down in a cool, dry place and allow them to dry completely before displaying them again.

    With a little care, your dried flowers can be enjoyed for months (if not years)!
