Between August and September, our everlasting paper daisy fields bloom for our annual Pick Your Own Wildflowers experience, while the rest of the year is spent growing, drying and creating for our little farm shop

Hi there, we’re so glad you found us. I'm Angela, and together with my husband Steve, we would love to welcome you to Wild Acres Flower Farm. We are a small seasonal flower farm, nestled in the countryside of Veradilla, Queensland.

Wild Acres has been many years in the making . . . decades, in fact. My love of flowers began from a young age. I have such fond memories of my Nan taking us out into the countryside around Broken Hill during the school holidays to search for the beautiful Sturt Desert Pea. Those early adventures sparked a lifelong love of native wildflowers, and the Sturt Desert Pea has remained my favourite flower ever since.

Years later, my very first job as a nursery hand on a flower farm planted another seed, one that quietly grew into the dream of having a flower farm of my own. I've always admired the way wildflowers grow with the seasons and do things entirely their own way. Over time, I also discovered how beautifully they dry, and that simple discovery eventually led us to create a seasonal flower farm, specialising in growing and drying Australian Native Wildflowers and offering our much loved Pick Your Own Wildflowers experience, held each year when our everlasting paper daisies come into bloom.

Everything we do here is guided by the things we value most; slow living, sustainability, creativity and working alongside nature. We are learning to grow with the seasons, create by hand where we can, and thoughtfully source the rest. More than growing flowers, we hope to create a place where people can slow down, connect with nature and enjoy the simple things in life.

Today, Wild Acres is more than a flower farm. Alongside our naturally dried flowers, you’ll find a curated collection of handcrafted, small batch gifts and each year we look forward to welcoming visitors to experience our seasonal Pick Your Own Wildflowers.
